Professional Profile:
Zshonette Reed is an experienced civil litigator and real estate attorney admitted to practice law in all Courts of the State of California.

Prior to enrolling in law school in 1999, Ms. Reed was a civil litigation paralegal with over 25 years experience. Her legal experience and natural abilities helped her successfully complete law school in 2003, graduating Magna Cum Laude and Second in her class.

While in law school she was a member of law review, participated in two moot court competitions, and obtained various honors as noted below. Thereafter, Ms. Reed took the California State Bar Exam, passed on her first attempt, and within a month of being sworn in, opened her own law practice.

During the past 6 years, Ms. Reed has had significant success in representing a diverse client base. Some of the highlights are noted below. Currently, Ms. Reed’s practice is primarily devoted to real estate foreclosure defense. Along with a competent staff, Ms. Reed successfully negotiates with banks and servicers to stop foreclosures and help homeowners save their homes.

Ms. Reed is actively litigating against banks who wrongfully foreclosure when a loan modification should have been offered under the recently enacted Home Affordable Modification program. She has had success in stopping eviction procedures, allowing the homeowners to continue living in the properties while Ms. Reed fights to reverse the foreclosure sale. In some cases, she has been able to negotiate with the banks to get a modification and prevent the expense of lengthy litigation.

In addition to being a successful attorney, Ms. Reed is the mother of two young adults and resides in Chatsworth, California.
