My practice is focused almost exclusively in the area of criminal defense from drunk driving cases and juvenile delinquency matters to rape and murder. From the experience I acquired as a former assistant prosecutor my firm has handled expungement matters as well as appeals. While many firms, or attorneys will involve themselves in many areas of the law I believe that to effectively represent someon charged in a criminal case requires a high degree of focus, attention and experience, because it is almost exclusively the one area of law where your opponent is always the goverment, along with all of its' resources.

I graduated from Grand Valley State University in 1984 and then attended the University of Detroit Law School, where I graduated in 1988. I clerked in the Washtenaw County Prosecutors' office while in law school. Upon admission to the state bar I started practicing law in the Calhoun County Prosecutors' office in 1989, and remained there until 1994, when I left and started my own practice. I have successfully defended individuals charged with crimes ranging from drunk driving and assault to rapes and double homicides.

Licensed to practice law, and member of the State Bar of Michigan. I am a member on inactive status of the Ohio State Bar. I am also a member of the Calhoun County Bar Association.

Reading, studying, and learning the Catholic faith and the history of the Catholic Church. Enjoy playing Golf, (although, I never really seem to get any better at it). And, I enjoy old movies.
