Randy W Smith

We represent clients who have been charged with crimes, and those with disputes either with the state or other family members regarding visitation, custody and support of children. Mr. Smith has been in practice 10 years and has represented clients charged with crimes ranging from Speeding tickets to Murder. He has also represented parents in Child Protection cases for 5 years in both Washington and Idaho. In addition to trial practice Mr. Smith has handled appeals in front of the Washington Court of Appeals and the Idaho Supreme Court.

Mr. Smith graduated from Drake University Law School with Honors in December 1999. He practiced in Washington State from 2000-2007 when he moved to Idaho to work for the Bannock County Public Defenders as their Juvenile Court Specialist. In 2008 Mr. Smith went back into private practice for Keith Barton and Associates as the Criminal Defense attorney covering all of Idaho, and parts of Washington. He has appeared in 10 Idaho counties and 9 Washington Counties. He has tried over 200 cases, including a 4 week Murder trial in Washington. In addition he has represented clients on appeal in front of the Washington Court of Appeals and the Idaho Supreme Court.
