Philip S. Harris has been practicing Hospitality Law since 1992 and has been active in the hospitality industry for 25 years.

Harris is a 1984 honors graduate of Cornell's School of Hotel Administration and a 1992 cum laude graduate of Lewis and Clark Law School, Portland, Oregon.

In 2007, Harris left Shilo for private practice in order to share his time equally between his two school age boys in Portland, Oregon and his wife and step-daughter in California's Bay Area. As a result, Harris spends alternating weeks between his two West Coast homes. Philip is married to Tamsen McCracken, Senior Vice-President and General Counsel for San Francisco based Stanford Hotels. Philip enjoys hiking, mountain-biking and travel.
