Michael J. Boccella

Pennsylvania

Mr. Boccella was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and has spent his entire life in the Delaware Valley. He attended Saint Joseph’s University, where he graduated cum laude with a degree in English. He graduated cum laude from Villanova University School of Law.

Before opening his law firm, Mr. Boccella worked in both private practice and as in in-house counsel for two major insurance companies. As an in house attorney, Mr. Boccella litigated insurance coverage/bad faith actions, provided written coverage opinions and provided assistance with respect to the investigation of claims. Mr. Boccella also has many years of experience working in private practice, where he has litigated a variety of cases, including insurance and tort actions. Mr. Boccella has experience litigating insurance coverage disputes under a variety of policies, including general liability, commercial property, homeowner's (liability and property), trucker's liability and other policies. Mr. Boccella also experience litigating premises and products liability actions, ERISA suits and employment discrimination claims.


When Mr. Boccella is not practicing law, he enjoys participating in sports, including golf and basketball, and spending time with his family. He has served as a regional commissioner for CYO Basketball and is involved in the CYO at his children's school.
