Leigh R. Bodner

Mr. Bodner was born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia. He attended Georgia Tech from 1968 to 1970. However, Mr. Bodner soon realized that his true calling would be a career in law. He transferred to Emory University where he graduated in 1973 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. He then attended the Emory University School of Law where he earned the Juris Doctor degree in 1977.

Since that time, Mr. Bodner has been in the private practice of law. In 1983, he was a founding member of the law firm Jordan & Bodner. Twenty-six years later, Mr. Bodner is still in association with H. Garold Jordan, the other founding member. Early in his career, he handled domestic and criminal cases, as well as personal injury matters. Although he still handles criminal cases, the prime focus of Mr. Bodner’s practice is representing victims who have been injured through the negligence of others. He is a longstanding member of the American Association of Justice (AAJ, formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America) and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA).

After more than 30 years as an Atlanta injury attorney, Mr. Bodner still relishes each and every challenge that aggressive client representation brings. His degree in psychology and his understanding of basic human nature have served his clients well in settlement negotiation, the litigation process, and trials.
