Komanapalli is the highly educated Partner of Komanapalli Massey LLP. She graduated from the University of California at Irvine (UCI) in June of 2000 with two Bachelor of Arts degrees. She majored and holds Bachelor of Arts (BA) degrees in Political Science, in which she graduated with honors, cum laude, and in Philosophy – and she minored in Global Peace and Conflict Studies as well. To complete her undergraduate honors program at UCI, Ms. Komanapalli researched and authored a thesis entitled, Nationalism and International Human Rights Violations. Ms. Komanapalli has four siblings; three of them studied medicine and are now medical doctors who specialize in various capacities, while the fourth sibling followed in their father's footsteps to become an honorable school teacher in the Orange County, California School District. Naturally, Ms. Komanapalli's strict, but loving Eastern Indian parents and her siblings expected that she too would study to and become either a medical doctor or a school teacher, both noble professions. Ms. Komanapalli, however, was never one simply to go with the flow; she is a trend-setter – not a follower. Law, after all, had always been her dream, her calling. So, she took the LSAT exam, then applied to and was accepted by the exclusive Loyola Law School. She capped off another excellent educational performance by earning her Juris Doctorate (JD) degree in May, 2003. While attending Loyola Law School, Ms. Komanapalli began to build her irreproachable reputation in the California Courts and in the legal community generally, by serving exceedingly well as a judicial extern in the California Court of Appeal for the Fourth District, Division 3, specifically for Justice William F. Rylaarsdam, who appreciated her intelligence, work ethic and amenability to learning. After Ms. Komanapalli graduated from Loyola and passed the California State Bar in 2004, she began her legal career as a volunteer Immigration Attorney representing on a pro bono (free of charge) basis indigent people whom had turned to the Public Law Center, and Ms. Komanapalli, for assistance with their various Immigration Law issues. Ms. Komanapalli has found tremendous satisfaction in helping immigrants to make better lives for themselves, and so she continues to assist good people with great needs via her work in the field of Immigration Law.
