John Collins, an Arizona employment & injury lawyer, works hard to help Arizona one person at a time.
John earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School in 2005, where he participated on the Editorial Board of the Brigham Young University Law Review as a Lead Notes and Comments Editor. He also became involved with the BYU Trial Advocacy Program and was a finalist in the 2003 Woody Deem Trial Advocacy Competition. In addition, John was recognized by the faculty for his appellate acumen being named a finalist for Best Brief in the 2003 1L Moot Court Competition.
Before attending law school, John graduated magna cum laude in Honors Studies from Texas Tech University. He received Texas Tech’s prestigious Presidential Scholarship throughout his attendance and was awarded membership in the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and the Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society.
John has enjoyed helping real people fight injustice since 2005. In addition to representing clients in employment law issues, including wrongful termination, discrimination, and disputes involving overtime and minimum wage issues, John has litigation experience in the areas of commercial law, contract law, real estate law, and personal injury, in which he helped negotiate a seven-figure policy-limit settlement for one client.
