Jeremy Fisher was raised in the small town of West Branch, MI with his brother and two sisters. He graduated high school with honors and received a scholarship to the University of Detroit Mercy. While at UDM, Mr. Fisher met his beautiful wife Jennifer. In 2001 Mr. Fisher graduated Magna Cum Laude with Bachelors in Liberal Arts. His major was political science and history.

After college Mr. Fisher went on to the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. While in Law School Mr. Fisher was honored to be chosen as a legal intern for both the Michigan Attorney General’s Office in the Child Support Division and Justice Marilyn Kelly of the Michigan Supreme Court. Mr. Fisher was awarded a CALI Future in Excellence Award for his work teaching law to Mumford High School Students in Detroit. Mr. Fisher won a second CALI Future in Excellence Award for his course work in Death Penalty in America. Mr. Fisher graduated law school in the top 15% of his class and scored in the top 5% on his bar exam. After law school Mr. Fisher worked at three of Detroit’s most well known bankruptcy firms where he gained extensive knowledge of consumer bankruptcy laws and practices.

Jeremy Fisher is currently the principle attorney and manager of Second Chance Legal Services. He focuses his practice primarily in the area of consumer bankruptcy. Mr. Fisher believes that bankruptcy is an important and honorable tool that has been provided by congress to help people drowning in debt to get a Fresh Start. Bankruptcy provides individuals with a second chance at their dreams.
