Doug Shaddix grew up in the Atlanta area and received his undergraduate degree in Political Science at Georgia State University in 1978. After graduation, he worked for a Congressman while attending law school. Upon the election of President Reagan, he put his legal education on hold to move to Washington, D.C. for eight years where he served in the Reagan Administration working in International Trade at the Department of Commerce and other public policy positions.
After the Reagan years, Doug returned to Atlanta to complete his law degree, cum laude, and spent several years with the Atlanta-based law firm of King & Spalding. He left there in order to create his own firm, Wealth Preservation Solutions, LLC, where he practices in the areas of asset protection, estate planning and entity formation.
