Firm: Wattel and York
Wattel & York is a highly successful personal injury and property damage law firm in the United States, boasting more than 50 years of combined experience in litigation. We can help you with the following legal issues: personal injury, automobile accidents, motorcycle accidents, boating injuries, slip and falls, product liabilities, dog bites, nursing home neglect cases, and diminished value claims.
We pride ourselves in being aggressive litigators who work hand-in-hand with clients to dictate the value of each individual case rather than let it be dictated by an insurance company. If the company refuses to pay what the case is worth, we will file suit and fight until they do so, whether by settlement or judgment. We have a sparkling record in gaining appropriate settlements: more than 95% of our clients have gotten more money offered or awarded than what the insurance company initially presented. That fact should convince you that litigation is the smart way to go and Wattel & York is your vanguard in being treated fairly.
David Wattel is a founding member of the law firm of Wattel & York. Mr. Wattel obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Illinois in 1984. He continued on to earn his Juris Doctor from the Arizona State University College of Law in 1988. He has devoted 25 years of law practice to representing those injured at the hands of others. He actively litigates cases and has represented more than 13,000 clients. In addition, Mr. Wattel trains physicians through the American Institute of Personal Injury Physicians (AIPIP), an organization founded by Wattel, on how to properly document personal injury claims. He also speaks nationally to auto body shops and their professional associations regarding diminished value and other property damage related subjects. Mr. Wattel is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Arizona Trial Lawyers Association, and the State Bar of Arizona. He is licensed to practice in the State of Arizona, as well as the United States District Court, District of Arizona.
Mr. Wattel is currently not licensed to nor does he practice law in Washington state.
