Appellate lawyer for over 20 years in criminal appeals in federal and state courts. Admitted to practice in New York and Florida. Prior work as a Wall Street attorney for mutual fund company and Palm Beach commercial trial attorney. In addition to full-time practice, is Adjunct Professor of Law teaching Appellate Practice at Ivy League Law School. Is a legal author, most recently with "Guide to Criminal Appeals, Review and Parole in New York". He has written other scholarly articles for law journals. In 1991, Mr. Bryan initiated a movement to introduce legislation in Congress for the testing of all newborn infants for hearing impairment. In 2000, the Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Act became law. He is also a Merchant Marine Officer.
