Mr. Ronald D. Miller (47) is presently the Managing Director of Disability Group, Incorporated, a national law firm representing disabled clients in obtaining benefits under US Social Security Laws. Miller founded Disability Group in 2004, premiering with 4 people. In 5 short years, Miller expanded the firm to over 150 employees in-house, and 300 contract attorneys in locations throughout the country. Disability Group is currently the largest Social Security Disability Law Firm in the U.S., handling cases nationwide. In 2009, the firm was nominated on the prestigious Inc 500 list as one of the fastest growing privately owned firms in America.
From 1993 to 2003, Mr. Miller founded and successfully created the nationâ€™s largest criminal defense firm, Miller & Associates, with over 200 attorneys practicing in 26 states. Through pioneering the concept of a â€œvirtual law firm,â€ using twenty first century communications technology, Mr. Miller creatively found a way to deliver higher quality legal services to consumers.
From 1988 to 1993, Mr. Miller served as the President of EIS/Vista Environmental Information Systems, a company he founded to produce electronic reports identifying toxic waste sites for the real estate finance industry. In connection with this company, Mr. Miller became an expert in environmental risk assessments. At this time Miller was also an adjunct faculty Professor at University of California Riverside, University of California San Diego, and University of Wisconsin at Madison. After he founded EIS, he secured endorsements from the American Banking Association, at which point the company was acquired by Stewart Title Insurance Company, and ultimately taken public in 1995.
From 1987 to 1989, Mr. Miller was an attorney with the law firm Dykema Gossett, Michiganâ€™s largest law firm with over 400 attorneys. At Dykema Gossett, Miller practiced corporate real estate and environmental law.
From 1979 to 1985, Miller was the President of A-1 Cleaning Systems, a company he founded and ultimately sold. It remains in business as of 2009.

Miller is also actively involved with the Young Presidents Association (YPO) where he serves on the Executive Committee. He was previously President of the San Diego Chapter of the Young Entrepreneurs Association (YEO).
Mr. Miller is a licensed pilot and road racer. He is also involved in a number of charitable organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Save the Children, Turning Point Transitional Housing, and the Santa Monica Dolphin Change program, a charitable organization to feed the homeless of Santa Monica.
