Certified in Criminal Defense
Our principal lawyer, Jeffrey T. Hammerschmidt, has been a lawyer since 1987 and has been focusing on criminal matters since 1992. In addition, he is one of the few lawyers certified as a specialist in criminal law by the State Bar of California’s Board of Legal Specialization. His combination of practical experience and extensive knowledge makes him a strong advocate for our clients, whatever charge they face.
Strong investigations make strong cases
One of the elements in any criminal case is verifying the facts behind the charge. Our investigators are a former deputy sheriff and a district attorney’s investigator. They are able to determine the validity of the charges. They also uncover any irregularities in the case brought by law enforcement, making sure that all evidence was obtained legally and that the client’s rights were protected throughout the process.
